basics. this is a private and partially canon divergent blog for trinity from the matrix series, mainly taking inspiration from the first film along with personal headcanons. my name is pidge & i am 22 years old. i use they/he pronons and i am on australian central standard time (gmt+9:30).before anything, i would like to say that if you are a terf or otherwise transphobic, you can fuck right off. this is a series created by two trans women and is widely regarded as an allegory for being transgender. if you subscribe to any of the red pill bullshit, do not interact with me. this blog is not for you.

following and activity. i am mutually exclusive and low activity. writing is my job outside of tumblr too, i have quite a few other blogs, and sometimes i simply don't have the energy to do threads at the end of the day. my energy can be extremely sporadic so please keep this in mind when following.
i can be fairly selective with who i decide to follow - i generally follow (back) if i can see potential for plotting and also i think that we would get along well out of character. i can take some time to follow back so please do not follow / unfollow for attention.
i generally only break mutuals if you have not been active in over two months, we haven't particularly interacted, or i've been notified of something i wasn't aware of in the past (such as racist / sexist / transphobic behavior). in all cases i will softblock.
i will only write with those who are over 18. this is simply because i am 20+ and being considerate of younger writers on this site.interactions. i am very heavily plotting based. if i’m following you then i want to interact so please don’t be shy! i will rarely post starter calls but i am always open to having mutuals message me asking to plot. in addition, i reblog a lot of memes so if you want to interact, sending one of those in is the best way to get a thread started!
for my own comfort, i won't write or interact with the following media unless i am friends with the person: american horror story, supernatural, harry potter, riverdale, chilling adventures of sabrina, descendants, any rooster teeth property, most anime/manga.

characterisation and content.
i write trinity as a trans woman who uses she/they pronouns. please respect this and alternate pronouns in paragraph text (outside of dialogue) even if your character doesn't know yet. it's a small thing but means a lot.
her name inside the matrix is claudia white and trinity was originally her hacker alias. she will only accept being called trinity if you know this name. the only times she responds to claudia now is by those who have not been unplugged or if she is purposefully hiding her identity.
due to the nature of the matrix and her awareness of it, she is capable of pulling off 'superhuman' feats. as of resurrections, she also possesses the powers of the one along with neo. however, she is still human at the end of the day. if you begin to veer into godmod territory or something that would realistically harm or kill her, i will bring it up with you before continuing the thread.
any potentially triggering content will be tagged as 'trigger //'. i have no personal triggers to tag but there is a blanket content warning on this blog for unreality and body horror.shipping. in her canon verses, i will only ship trinity with neo. alternate verses will be open to shipping on a selective basis as she is a very closed off person by nature. i am chemistry based and would prefer if we got along well out of character too.
explicit nsfw content will not be featured on this blog however it may be occasionally implied. if we are mutuals, i would appreciate it if nsfw content is tagged as i am generally not very comfortable with it.other. i use minimal formatting with static icons. i will probably not follow if you do ‘photoshop’ replies or heavily formatted ones just because it’s insanely hard for me to actually read and absorb those.
i won’t be following duplicates just to tailor my own experience to what i’m comfortable with. no hard feelings!

02. i've had dreams that weren't just dreams: set during resurrections. trinity, going by the name of tiffany white, has no memory of her past life until she once again crosses paths with thomas anderson, being reopened to the reality of the matrix.

04. all bright things must burn: star wars verse. under the nose of the empire, the crew of the nebuchadnezzer smuggle resources across the galaxy. trinity has no interest in getting too involved with the rebellion, though her captain has other plans.

06. the aftermath of something lethal: assassin verse. after her father figure is brutally murdered by his own proteges, something inside her breaks. she begins down the path of retribution, abandoning her name for the one given by him: trinity.

01. open your head and feel the shellshock: set during the original trilogy. defaults to between the original and reloaded but will write at any point up to the end of revolutions.

03. reality is frequently inaccurate: "modern"/crime verse. claudia white is an highly determined investigative journalist. amongst other stories, she is particularly interested by the fabled 'matrix', chasing leads under the hacker alias trinity.

05. sea change into pain: pirate verse. tbd.
